Formulation development
Starting the development of a new product is a complex process that begins with a conversation with various experts. You can suggest your own formulation or we can develop a personalized one for you. This is followed by the selection of active ingredients and the process of formulating the product in the laboratory. Basic stability testing is followed by the production of a sample, where structure, lubricity, absorbency and other properties are checked. Based on the comments, the product is changed and finished according to your wishes.
Overall image and packaging
If you need help choosing a graphic designer and primary packaging, that must be attractive, practical, consistent with your brand identity, and in line with quality certifications, we are here to help. We collaborate closely with proven suppliers that provide competitive packaging prices, even for small quantities. Considering your chosen primary packaging, we can also help you create appropriate secondary packaging.
Test batch
After sample validation, a test batch is produced. The products from the test batch can be used for testing with potential customers and to carry out the necessary tests (e.g. dermatological testing for cosmetics – pH, lubricity and viscosity, stability, and for food supplements e.g. microbiological testing, solubility, disintegration, purity, etc.).
As the test batch is not yet a large production run, changes and corrections can still be applied. This way, you can get the final product exactly as you wanted it.
Document preparation
If agreed in advance, we will prepare a product information file (PIF) for the cosmetic product and, once all the required studies have been carried out, register the product and the responsible person with the European Commission on the Cosmetic Products Notification Portal (CPNP).
For food supplements, we prepare documents listing the ingredients contained in the product and put you in touch with experts who can explain how the food supplement must be labelled to comply with the law and regulations (EU) so as not to mislead consumers.
Trade mark protection
Trademark protection is the process by which a company or individual legally protects the name, logo, slogan, or other symbols that represent their product or service.
A trademark gives you exclusive rights to use certain signs and prevents others from using them without your permission. We connect you with the experts who provide such protection in Slovenia or abroad.
Production of finished products
Production planning involves designing clear production procedures and sourcing raw materials through suppliers who guarantee high quality and regulatory compliance (e.g. certificates of origin and quality of ingredients).
All Galex products are made in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) to ensure product safety and quality. After production, each batch of finished products is retested to check that it complies with quality standards.

Packaging and distribution
Packaging and distribution are key steps in the supply chain, especially important in the production, storage and delivery of products to end users. The correct packaging of the product ensures its protection against damage during transport, enables proper storage and is often an important factor in the attractiveness of the product on store shelves.
Once the products are packed, we can keep them in warehouses for you until they are ready to be shipped, or we can send the products to your customers' chosen address by agreement.
